When dysfunctional family squabbling causes young Max (Emjay Anthony) to lose his festive spirit, it unleashes the wrath of the fearsome demon. As Krampus lays siege to the Engel home, mom (Toni Collette), pop (Adam Scott), sister (Stefania LaVie Owen) and brother must band together to save one another from a monstrous fate.

Would you consider The Nightmare Before Christmas a Holliday Horror Movie? If not, then i would definitely go with Jack Frost(NOT THE ONE WITH MICHAEL KEATON!!). A killer snowman? You can’t get much better than that. Side note… I have yet to see Krampus.. If I win the Blue Ray Contest, I promised my wife I would watch it with her.

Silent Night Deadly Night, there’s just something about a man who watched his parents murdered by a serial killer Santa while later on getting a job that makes him dress as one and then chasing people around shouting “KILL” that brings out my inner holiday spirit

  • justin

    I’m gonna go with Gremlins

  • Zachary Haith

Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale zachhaith@yahoo.com

  • Mike Valdes

I’ve always been a Home Alone fan which is technically the first “home invasion” movie, but I love Krampus so much too! My email is bookmikevaldes@gmail.com

Well, I didn’t get to see KRAMPUS when it came out in theaters, but I wanted to! And some people I know who’ve seen it, really liked it! And It’s one I’ve yet to see. But so far, my favorite holiday horror movie is a title from 2010, called ‘Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale’. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest checking it out! No spoilers!

  • Howard Bilecky

I definitely have to pick “Jack Frost (1997)” as my favorite!! I never thought I’d ever see a film about a serial killer who comes back as a snowman to take revenge!! eric_voelker@hotmail.com

  • David Hollingsworth

I would have to go with the original “Black Christmas” (1974). It was a creepy, intense film that used very little gore but more style and substance. It was one of the first slasher films, and definitely one of the very best in my opinion.
