Vincente DiSanti and Nate McLeod are the mad men behind the Friday the 13th inspired fan film that brings Jason back to Camp Crystal Lake in Never Hike Alone. The story of Never Hike Alone is one of man vs nature in the most extreme way. Taking inspiration from films such as The Descent, 127 Hours, and The Martian, this film takes the fear of extreme isolation and shines it through a lens of the Friday the 13th universe.
After the duo released a concept trailer online fans went buck wild! It received a ton of positive reaction and they decided to go balls to the wall and make the film. To complete the film they are asking horror fans for help via Kickstarter. Their ultimate goal is to release the completed film in Summer of 2017. Never Hike Alone is a 22-Minute short film that follows the story of Kyle McLeod (Andrew Leighty), a young backcountry hiker who discovers the long lost remains of Camp Crystal Lake. However, Kyle’s innocent search of the camp turns deadly when he is attacked by Camp Crystal Lake’s last remaining resident, JASON VOORHEES. Will Kyle make it out of the woods alive or become another victim of the cursed camp?
