It was announced today by Warner Bros and NetherRealm studios that there highly anticipated fighter Mortal Kombat X will be released worldwide on 4-14-2015. The game will be coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Most notable to this announcement is that everyone’s favorite four-armed Shokan warrior Goro will be available as a downloadable fighter for those who pre-order the game. Presumably, Warner Bros. will release Goro publicly sometime after launch for those who didn’t pre-order but this was not confirmed today.

Mortal Kombat X is the 10th game in the fighting games franchise history. The first game Mortal Kombat was released in arcades back in 1993 to amazing graphics that included digitized actors and gruesome finishers called Fatalities which pretty much created the ESRB rating system we have on video games today.
