As part of Sony’s Playstation 5 event those yearning to be killed all over again in the remake of under-appreciated gem, ‘Demons Souls,’ were treated to gameplay footage from the upcoming title. Not only that, but Sony also confirmed that the game will be releasing at launch with itS next-gen console.
This came as a bit of a surprise, given that until now all we had was a pre-rendered cinematic trailer and no idea of how far along into development the team even was. The game looks absolutely gorgeous with everything completely overhauled from the games original release a decade ago. It still looks tough as nails too, which is the Souls fanbase needs to hear to get in on this.
There was a mistake in the trailer shown during the event, saying it was a console exclusive, leading people to believe that it was also coming to PC. Sony clarified after the event that this is indeed a PS5 exclusive and will NOT be coming to other platforms, including PC. Sorry master race.
‘Demons Souls’ launches with the PS5 on November 12th in the US (and other select regions), before being released worldwide on November 19th. Check out the trailer below and let us know if you’re excited to check this out and whether you have the constitution to see “You Died” several thousand times in a play through.
