Translated and released for the first time, Super Famicom’s Clock Tower: Rewind will release to PC and consoles. The retro survival horror fans can get their hands on the revival on October 29. The Clock Tower series serves as inspiration for the survival horror genre including titles like Alone in the Dark.

The terrifying 16-bit classic follows Jennifer, a teenage orphan, who arrives to the Barrows family manor. But, shortly after arriving to the manor, one of the other children is killed by the Scissorman. Players must search the manor for items, secrets, and ways to escape from the unstoppable, relentless, shears-wielding psychopath.

With the revival, players will also have the option to play the ‘Original’ mode. This Original mode will allow players to play the game in its 1995 release state. Then the ‘Rewind’ mode will include extra content, features, and quality of life improvements. Plus, randomized gameplay elements like jump scares. The Rewind mode will include new animations, motion comics, art galleries, save states, and songs from Elizabeth McGlynn (Silent Hill) and Emi Evans (NieR series).

Clock Tower: Rewind releases on October 29 to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and for PC via Steam.
