Gamescom 2024 has been scarily good for horror fans and Fireshine Games’ A.I.L.A. trailer is no exception. A.I.L.A. is a first-person horror game where the lines between virtual and reality begin to blur.

Fireshine Games new techno-horror game puts players in a disturbing horror experience as a solo game tester. As a tester, you are responsible for testing out the games generated by A.I.L.A. (Artificial Intelligence of Level Analysis). Each game is made via prompts the player selects, and each new game brings new challenges, interactions, and revelations for the player.

As she begins to craft your personalized haunting experiences, players must run from a ritualistic cult, solve gruesome puzzles, and engage in visceral combat against medieval undead and more. Additionally, each scenario takes players into different genres: from survival to psychological to action. In between the games stages, players can navigate through the house and talk to the digital assistant. However, players should be cautious: something is monitoring you.

A.I.L.A. is a terrifying glimpse at near-future technology that we can’t wait for horror fans to experience for themselves next year,” said Rob Feather, Product Manager at Fireshine Games. “Blending multiple horror genres, A.I.L.A. is a deeply haunting horror experience that will scare and excite every type of horror fan, while also taking them on an unpredictable journey through a narrative that is never quite what it seems.”

A.I.L.A. will release in 2025. PC users can wishlist it on Steam.
