Amanda fans’ prayers have been answered – Amanda the Adventure 2, now has a release date! The unsettling tale first made its appearance at the Steam Summer Fest earlier this summer. The viral hit Amanda the Adventurer launched on console today and it’s sequel will be available on October 22nd.
Developed by MANGLEDmaw Games and publisher DreadXP, the story revolves around Riley Park, who discovers mysterious tapes in her attic. She decides to conduct a further investigation at the Kensdale Public Library. Upon arrival, Riley encounters a masked figure who claims to have known their Aunt Kate before her death and needs help finding something she left behind in the library. However, a powerful entity seems to be drawn to the tapes.
Meanwhile, Amanda becomes aware of Riley’s presence and is doing everything she can to free herself. The stakes are high – not only is Amanda searching also other sinister forces too are looking for Riley.

Introducing a new interaction type called “GET UP!” This encourages players to explore the environment, find items requested by Amanda, and see her responses. The sequel also features a new area – the Kensdale Public Library. The new, larger environment is filled with secrets and lore for players to discover. New characters join the adventure, ensuring that neither Riley nor Amanda will be alone. The game promises to delve deeper into the story of Amanda, Riley, and Aunt Kate, unraveling a horrifying history.
