Previously announced earlier this summer, Gun Interactive’s Friday the 13th: The Game will be delisted at the end of 2023. With the delisting imminent, the developers wanted to give new and old players the chance to experience the full game.

Starting July 6th, all players will have 30 of the most popular Legendary perks awarded to their accounts. These perks will come with only the best rolls possible with no negative effects.

Players will also see their accounts maxed out to Level 150 with all Kills and Challenge Skulls unlocked. Although, the Kills does not include the DLC kills. Fans can opt to purchase the DLCs and base game at a lower price until the year’s end.

While in matches, players will also notice that they will no longer accumulate XP or CP. Since players will have the majority of unlockable items, the developers have removed the progression.

The unlockable content and awards come from two separate initiatives from Gun Interactive. In order to reduce dependence on database servers and as a thank you for fans. Wes Keltner, CEO of Gun, said:  “This was the best way we knew how to give you, the players, the best experience and a heartfelt thank you, as we move towards an inevitable goodbye.”

Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person survival horror game where players can take on the role of Counselors or as Jason Vorhees. Seven players face off against the iconic killer as they attempt to escape Camp Crystal Lake. Each Counselor comes equipped with a set of unique perks to help in the fight. Meanwhile, Jason can stalk, ambush, or use his other abilities to catch them before they escape.

Friday the 13th: The Game is available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on Steam.
