If your phone’s been ringing, you may be a call to action for the latest Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed update! Their 3rd major free DLC since release, this expansion is sure to excite fans of the game and franchise alike! To accompany this new content, they dropped the game’s price to $19.99, so if you’ve been holding out now is the time! To the topic at hand, however, aside from general game improvements the latest DLC drop includes cosmetics and a new map haunted by the freshly released ghost type, The Watchers.

The new “New York” music scene-themed map experience is the main major addition to the game! To accompany this map is its local denizens, The Watchers. These ghostly cyclops beings have bat wings out of a body horror nightmare, with an eye that looks like it belongs on an overused Panic Pete squeeze toy. Don’t focus too hard on the eye, however, because you might notice their actual eyes right above the razor-sharp teeth while it sends its big one hurling at you like a grotesque ball strung to a paddle. Be careful about getting distracted by the party, because, well, you’re being watched.

To give the game a fresh coat of polish, there are also additional cosmetics available, with more to come. A variety of outfits specifically inspired by the women-led reboot from 2016 is definitely one of the most notable releases. That’s not all, however, with several new outfits, cosmetic scars, or even illuminated eyes. There are also several new unlockables now available for those more veteran players who want a goal to work towards. So if they haven’t called you, you should start calling up your crew in preparation. So, I’ll ask once more, who ya gonna call?
