Critical Reflex (Buckshot Roulette) and developer Wrong Organ invite you to join the damned crew of The Tuplar in their psychological horror game Mouthwashing. After releasing their demo early this year, IGN revealed an all-new trailer with a September 26 launch date during their Gamescom coverage.

Mouthwashing follows the Pony Express’s interplanetary freighter, The Tulpar, after it goes off course. This leaves the five crew members stranded with a quickly diminishing supply of resources. With starvation, paranoia, and hallucinations plaguing their conscious moments, the crew realizes their mortality. But more importantly, who will be responsible for when they perish.

Key Features:

  • Inescapable Isolation: Explore claustrophobic corridors as time closes in on you
  • Immersive Storytelling: Every detail tells a story. A keen eye is key.
  • An Unfolding Narrative: Uncover the truth about your captain, your crew, and your cargo.
  • Descend into Madness: Question everything, trust nothing. Not even your own mind.

Mouthwashing joins Critical Reflex’s indie horror game catalog with viral hits like Buckshot Roulette and found-footage horror Teleforum. Three additional horror games will also join this lineup including Regular Home Revovation Simulator, fishing horror Drowned Lake, and the nightmarish fairytale of Flawless Abbey.

Mouthwashing is available to wishlist now on Steam. Their free demo is also available for PC.
