With college students returning to campus for the new semester, what a fitting time for Gun Interactive to announce a new multiplayer mode called ‘Rush Week.’ The free multiplayer mode will allow for six Victims to go head-to-head with Johnny ‘Pretty Boy’ Slaughter.
In an announcement video this morning, the developer teased horror fans with a short cinematic trailer. The new game mode will also bring a new hunting ground for Johnny – a sorority house.
The ‘Rush Week’ game mode will be a part of the Content Pass launching in September. Also included in the Content Pass will be a new Family Member, a new Victim, a new Execution Pack, four new cosmetics, and early access to the new game mode. The Content Pass “features over $45 worth of content” and will go on sale for $19.99 USD.
‘Rush Week’, as confirmed by the developers on Twitter, will not be a limited-time mode either.
In addition to the Content Pass, upcoming DLCs will include a new Leatherface Skin, a Victim Hair Pack, a new map, weather variants for released maps, and more cosmetics and execution packs. These are slated for release throughout September 2024-February 2025.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and for PC via Steam and Microsoft. The asymmetric multiplayer game is also available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC.
