Texas Chain Saw Massacre‘s newest mode – Rush Week – is now available with the Content Pass. Rush Week is a new 1 v 6 mode where six Sorority Girls will face off against Johnny Slaughter in a Giallo-inspired Slasher feast. Rush Week will be available for all players on September 30th.
In Rush Week, players will see a few new options compared to the base game. Players will have new escape options and a few new items to aid in their fight. Some of the new items include a wrench, a knife, and pepper spray that will allow the Sorority Girls to protect themselves from Johnny. Plus, perfume can also be thrown at Johnny to reveal his location.
Even though the Sorority Girls will not have any perks to escape the two-story hell house, there’s a few new options to make up for it. Players can either get keys to a car to radio for police or complete a fuse objective to call the police inside the house. Once players call the police, a timer will begin, giving Johnny players a set time before police arrives. Alternatively, a new escape via an attic hatch can also be utilized. But be cautious – only two players can escape this way and Johnny can break the ladder.
As the match takes place, Johnny players will Hunt – with each execution making him stronger and more lethal. Plus the developers are adding a new ‘Fear System’. With the new Fear System, Johnny will be able to smell players with high Fear levels.
In addition to the default cosmetics, all players who play before the October patch will unlock the Towel and Laundry Day cosmetics. However, after the October patch, the cosmetics will only be available in the shop for $1.99 each.
