After first teasing the new map in their January stream, today, Gun Interactive released a video showcasing “The Mill.” The Texas Chain Saw Massacre fans can play the new free map on March 28. This comes shortly after Gun announced their newest Victim, Virginia, a collaboration with horror legend Barbara Crampton.
The newest map, The Mill, will feature multiple levels for players to traverse, a Ghost Town, and a dry river bed. In comparison to TCSM’s other maps, The Mill focuses on its vertical design. Players first got to experience the multi-level gameplay with Nancy’s House, but the newest map will feature four levels for players to navigate. With these environments, developers hope to push players to change their gameplay styles to allow for unique gameplay mechanics. To check out the newest map, watch the trailer posted below.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre takes place before the events of the 1974 Tobe Hooper film. Players take on the roles of either Family or Victims, and each side has its own goals in each match. While Victims work together to fight back and escape the map, Family members are on the hunt to track down and brutally murder their prey.
