It’s safe to say most people right now are feeling the cabin fever set in. Or reminiscing about their favorite places to visit. Fear not, Disney fans. You can now experience Disneyland’s ‘The Haunted Mansion’ from the comfort and safety of your home with Dreams.
Game developer Media Molecule released Dreams back in February 2020. This game building game allows the users to create, share, and ‘remix’ different audiovisual content like games, art, music, and sculptures.
You can still experience everything from the ride – even the queue! Players begin outside the iconic Haunted Mansion before entering the lobby with your Ghost Host who narrates your journey with the 99 Happy Haunts. And yes, you can still experience being told to keep your hands in the Doom Buggy at all times and to refrain from flash photography.
‘The Haunted Mansion’ is not the first attraction to come to Dreams. Other fan favorites like Disneylands’s Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain are all available to download and experience.
Meanwhile, fans have also spoken out on social media with their favorite attractions they want to see in VR. Amongst the votes were Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, and Matterhorn.
