Step back in time to the year 1854, during Japan’s Edo period, where Japan finds itself in a state of isolation. Meanwhile, Western nations are going through a technological and labor revolution known as the “Zombie Industrial Revolution.” Because of this, the countries search for new territories, with power that surpasses Japan’s capabilities.
The arrival of the Black Ships in Japan changes everything, demanding the country to open to the outside world. This leads to a devastating zombie invasion. Moreover, the infected zombies multiply rapidly, and the epidemic spreads throughout the city of Edo.
Amidst this chaos, a group of extraordinary individuals emerges—people with mysterious powers. They are only known through rumors and are called the “Zom-beings” because the zombie curse doesn’t affect them. Now, the three “Zom-beings” must eradicate the zombies. As well as restoring Japan to its pre-colonial state before it opened its doors to the outside world.
