It’s almost been a month since Gun Interactive teased Texas Chain Saw fans with Barbara Crampton’s new Victim character. The horror icon will be voicing and using her likeness for the new victim, Virginia. Virginia marks Barbara Crampton’s first time entering the Texas Chain Saw franchise. The Re-Animator and Creepshow star described the experience as “a rewarding creative endeavor.” In a recent Community Hub posting, the developers gave fans a rundown of the new roster addition.
Virginia’s life hasn’t been easier, and now, well, it’s only going to get worse. Virginia is a grief-stricken mother who has recently lost her son, Jesse, after he disappeared. Driven by her grief and denial, she quits her nursing job to move to the town where Jesse was last spotted – Newt, Texas. Determined to find her child, Virginia travels through remote areas to follow every last possible lead. This desperation finds Virginia near a remote farmhouse where she spots “unusual behavior.” But as she investigates the property, she gets captured and trapped in the nightmare of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
With her background as a nurse, Virginia has a vast knowledge of homemade remedies. This skill might just be what players need to successfully escape the hands of the blood-thirsty Family members. Virginia will be able to see Sissy’s flower powder and make her own concoctions. Players can throw these concoctions directly at a Family member, which creates a blue cloud that will temporarily blind them. Not only can she blind Family members, but with her special ability, Boon, she can contaminate blood buckets around the map. If a Family Member were to interact with the contaminated buckets, they’ll become disoriented for a short time.
In addition to Barbara Crampton’s Virginia, a new map “The Mill” will also launch on March 28. The new map will feature four levels that will push players to change their playstyles to adapt to their surroundings.
