Black Salt Games and Team17 Digital’s highly anticipated second expansion for Dredge ‘The Iron Rig’ is available now. The award-winning indie fishing horror game promises players a thrilling experience as they encounter a nefarious predicament with the Ironhaven Corporation.
In ‘The Iron Rig’ players will confront the spread of a strange and mysterious spread of ‘Dark Liquid’. This liquid begins to seep out into the environment after the drilling operation hits something in the primordial depths below. This mysterious phenomena threatens the region and impedes the Ironhaven Corp’s work. The once safe waters become perilous zones and the local wildlife becomes peculiar. Uncover ancient disturbances and craft advanced equipment to buff out your ship to help the corporation – but be careful. Everything comes at a price.
The ‘Iron Rig’ DLC will have between 2-5 hours of playable content that can be accessed any time. Along with the new story, there will also be 8 new pieces of gear, more than 50 new fish, a new tier of boat hull, research enhanced versions of some abilities, and 12 new achievements.
Also available today is the Complete Edition. The Complete Edition features the base game with ‘Blackstone Key’, ‘The Pale Reach’, and ‘The Iron Rig’. A Collector’s Edition is also available and will feature the base game, all DLC’s, and a few peculiar items. Fishing fans can look forward to exclusive artwork, a Sign of Ruin replica, stonepaper map, a complete compendium of fish and their aberrant variants, a message in a bottle, and a metal doubloon coin
