A horrifying update has just been released for Amnesia: The Bunker, just in time for Halloween. The update includes two new modes for players to survive through: Shell Shock Mode and Custom Mode.

Amnesia: The Bunker is the fourth installment into the Amnesia series. In The Bunker, players take on the role of a WW1 French soldier, Henri Clement. Shortly after waking up in the bunker with no memory of how he got there, Henri begins to search for answers. Henri quickly learns of the horrors lurking in the tunnels and must find a way out.

After completing your first playthrough, players can access Custom Mode. In Custom Mode, players have more than 30 settings and parameters to alter to really push their limits.

In Shell Shock, the Admin Office will no longer remain a safe place for players to recover in. The once sturdy metal doors are now replaced with wooden doors that the monster can get smash through. Similarly, the Beast has changed as well with new modified behaviors to catch players off guard. Shell Shock also introduces a new health system where players must use bandages to stop their bleeding, but won’t recover health. Players will have to utilize medkits to get back to their previous health state.

Additionally, lockers and their combinations will appear in random locations, saving requires fuel, electricity must be restored individually, and the Fuel Storage Room is now locked. In order to gain access to the Fuel Storage Room, players must find the combination somewhere in its randomly generated resting place.

Amnesia: The Bunker is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
