This will be the eleventh time ‘Children of the Corn’ has been brought to life and the latest effort is from writer and director Kurt Wimmer. The previous ten versions have had some sort of combination of theatrical and straight to DVD / VOD spanning from 1984 – 2009. The latest version from RLJE Films will be released in theaters March 3, 2023 and then On Demand and Digital will come shortly after on March 21, 2023.
It revolves around a possessed twelve-year-old girl in Nebraska who recruits other children in her small town to go on a bloody rampage and kill all the adults and anyone else who opposes her. A bright high schooler who won’t go along with the plan is the town’s only hope of survival.
