Stranded on a desolate planet, a strange device allows you to hear the spirits of those who inhabited it before, but in Sylvio: Black Waters, the voice of a sole survivor rings through. From Stroboskop and DreadXP, the newest entry into the classic Sylvio series will release on July 25.
Sylvio: Black Waters is an exploration horror game filled with physics-bending gameplay and audio-based puzzles. After hearing the voice of a man claiming to be a sole survivor, you follow his trail. Players will traverse through the physics-defying planet and its desolate sites with Lee’s guidance. With the haunting voices of its previous inhabitants, players must use their strange new device to decode them. Once decoded, the audio and video files allow the voices of the past to reveal their secrets.
Credit: StroboskopHowever, something is very wrong with this planet. While Sylvio and Sylvio 2 stayed closer to home, the newest entry takes place on a foreign, alien planet. It bears a strange resemblance to Earth, but with eerie and unnerving differences. You must defend yourself from the aggressive dead and their air-powered weaponry if you want to uncover who Lee is and what happened.
Sylvio: Black Waters will release on July 25 for PC via Steam.
