Modern dating is terrifying enough, but the new Hulu original ‘Fresh’ looks to take it to a new level! Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones) has been suffering through so many awful dates met online when she meets the charming Steve (Sebastian Stan) in the produce section while grocery shopping. He seems too good to be true…which in a horror film is always your biggest red flag!
The trailer doesn’t say exactly what the catch is, but with a heavy focus on food and the use of “unusual appetite” in the official synopsis I’m guessing it is cannibalism. Honestly it was only a matter of time before a movie tackled the recent headline of “traditionally attractive guy is shockingly into literally eating his love interests.” I’m always here for a good horror comedy, and this looks like it’s going to deliver!
‘Fresh’ will be streaming on Hulu March 4th, 2022.
