Nicolas Cage is known for his interesting acting choices that bring his characters to life in unique films. His new project is no different.
Director Kevin Lewis is bringing him another role that he will surely crush. The man knows his demographic.
Cage is set to star in ‘Wally’s Wonderland.’ When I hear the name, I immediately think of the animatronic voice activated moose in National Lampoon’s Vacation that informs Clark Griswald that Wally World is closed just before Clark snaps and punches it in the nose. If you ever wondered what it might be like to have Nic Cage bottle that moment up and go on a rampage throughout the horror theme park then ‘Wally’s Wonderland’ might be just what the doctor ordered.
Deadline is reporting that Cage “will play a janitor forced to spend the night in a twisted amusement park where he is pulled into a living nightmare…As the threatening animatronic characters come to life, the janitor has to fight his way from one monster to another to survive until morning and get out of the park.”
Yes, please. Is there anyone else we would rather see in this role? Kevin Lewis weighs in…
“For me there was always one actor and one actor only who could make this movie work, and that actor is Nicolas Cage,” said Lewis, “I’m thrilled to be working with him and can’t wait to see him go up against Wally and his gang of psychopathic misfits.”
