Gamescom: Fixed-Angle Survival Horror ‘Post Trauma’ Gets Spring Release Date

RED SOUL GAMES debuted a new trailer for their survival horror game,‘Post Trauma,’ during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live pre-show. The indie studio first debuted its trailer at last year’s The Game Awards announcing its partnership with publisher Raw Fury. With inspiration from classic horror games like ‘Silent Hill’ and ‘Resident Evil,’ ‘Post Trauma’ utilizes fixed camera angles and modern visuals for a modern twist.

‘Post Trauma’ follows Roman, a middle-aged train conductor who wakes up in a strange and twisted reality.  In order to escape the nightmare and return home to his family, players will have to solve puzzles to gain key items to progress. As you navigate the unknown in its unnerving environments, the mystery of why Roman is there begins to unravel. In an alternate reality where Roman’s fears and imagination have come to life, players will have to be wary of what lies ahead. Survive the horrors and creatures that lurk around every corner by avoiding or resorting to violence. However, not every creature you encounter will be what it seems. Not every creature you encounter will be hostile.

‘Post Trauma’ is set to release in Spring 2024 for consoles and PC via Steam.
