It’s time to strap in one last time, Capcom is releasing a Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition for PC and consoles. It shouldn’t be a surprise as the remake sold over 6.84 million copies since its launch in 2023. But it could signal a bittersweet end for RE4 fans if this would be the final addition to the best-selling title.

If you haven’t picked up a copy, the Gold Edition will help ease your FOMO with a special treat. The Gold Edition will include the base game, the Separate Ways DLC, and an Extra DLC pack with a few cosmetics. Plus, players will get the Mercenaries mode DLC for free as well.

Resident Evil 4 takes place six years after the biological disaster in Racoon City. We follow Leon S. Kennedy as he is sent to rescue the kidnapped daughter of the U.S. President. In a secluded European village, Leon makes a horrific discovery about the locals, leading to a terrifying tale of survival. Cultists, mind-controlling parasites, betrayals, and an explosive ending, all make it just another day of work for Leon.

The Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition releases February 9 for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and for PC via Steam.
