‘The Silencing’ from Saban Films brings a true-crime vibe that feels familiar. Something we have seen in ‘True Detective’ and more recently ‘The Outsider.’ While this film doesn’t have an HBO budget it does feature Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from ‘Game of Thrones’ fame portraying a reformed hunter who is trying to track down a killer who may have kidnapped the hunter’s daughter five years ago. With the help of Annabelle Wallis they are caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
