Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is a third-person survival horror game following the H.A.D.E.S. unit. Players take on the role of Special Agent Dalilia Reyes, a former spy, and the unit’s communications and electronics expert. After one of the most advanced experimental research facilities ceases communications, the H.A.D.E.S. unit is deployed. A simple mission of retrieving the highly sensitive data of the facility turns to a fight for survival when abominations come crawling in.
Credit: Invader StudiosHowever, soon after breaching the center, Reyes realizes something much more sinister lurks around the corner. Not only will Reyes have to fight back against nightmares from the past, but shocking revelations will lead her to question the people fighting beside her.
To fight back against the creatures and uncover the truth, there’s no shortage of weapons. Reyes will be able to use the Frost Grip – a gun with the ability to freeze enemies in place. A pretty handy tool considering even after killing one, they may come back in an even deadlier form.
