I went into ‘Talk to Me’ completely dark at SXSW. I knew nothing about the story or synopsis. It blew me away. It was scary, emotional and dared you to look away from the screen at times. I have seen the film 3 different times and when I heard this line in the movie “there are other hands just out there…” I immediately thought what other stories can they tell? Now we know there are more lost souls that need to be heard.
News just broke that A24 is bringing directors Danny and Michael Philippou are coming back for the sequel to their horror breakout film of the summer. A smart move for what could become a new blockbuster franchise spawning a universe similar to ‘The Conjuring’ or ‘Insidious.’

‘Talk To Me’ is setting new records in the box office with the second biggest opening weekend for the studio. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance and was a festival breakout and continues to receive a rapturous response from critics and audiences alike.
