Trailer: Worship the ‘Ghost of the Ozarks’ and Beware of the Past

My first impression of the ‘Ghost of the Ozarks’ trailer is it plays on the tension and storytelling of M. Night’s ‘The Village’ but with a different layer of regional horror. Don’t go into the woods or…the ghost will get you. But the interesting twist here is they seem to worship the ghosts like a new wave religion. Keeping those within the walls of the town trapped for seemingly all eternity, as if they themselves are the ghosts. Check out the trailer below.

‘Ghost of the Ozarks’  stars Thomas Hobson, Phil Morris, Tara Perry, Tim Blake Nelson, Angela Bettis and David Arquette and was directed by Matt Glass and Jordan Wayne Long.
