The trailer debut for Nini Bull Robsahm’s high-concept psychological thriller ‘Lake of Death’ just dropped from Shudder. It is an adaptation of André Bjerke’s 1942 Norwegian novel “Lake of the Dead.”

The story follows Lillian, whose twin brother Bjørn mysteriously dies alone at the old family cabin. Now, a year later, Lillian and her friends come back to the cabin to say goodbye and sell the place. Just after arrival, mysterious things begin to happen. She goes to sleep and can no longer separate nightmares from reality. Someone or something is chasing them and eventually one of their bodies is discovered.

Is the legend of Tore Gruvik about to become reality or is the enemy one of them?

What happened last summer and what was wrong with Bjørn Werner?

‘Lake of Death’ stars Iben Akerlie, Jacob Andersen Schoyen, Jonathan Harboe and Sohia Lie. Look for this on Shudder sometime in the near future – but until then check out the fantastically creepy trailer below.
