No need to share the same USB containing a somewhat suspicious file of Slender: The Eight Pages with your friends, Blue Isle Studios has released an updated 10th Anniversary version, Slender: The Arrival. The Anniversary update features new chapters, visual overhaul, multiplayer, and the ability for cross-platform modding. However, if you want to experience the original version, you can switch between the different versions on your Steam client.

Slender: The Arrival is the re-imagining of the original cult classic Slender: The Eight Pages. The experimental first-person game broke genre conventions a decade ago with its terrifying mechanics and isolation.

Arrival features a brand new chapter, ‘Nightmare’, for players to experience. In Nightmare, players follow Charlie Matheson’s father and his further descent into madness. In additon to the chapter, Blue Isle Studios also plans on a brand new expansion containing three chapters, regions, and characters. Currently, the release of the DLC expansion is Q2 2024.

With these terrifying experiences facing you, at least you won’t have to do it alone. In the new multiplayer mode, you can team up with friends to escape or even fight back against the Slender Man. Additionally, Blue Isle is working with CurseForge for Studios and Overwolf to launch their cross-platform mod kit. The mod kit will allow players to create their own scenarios for single or multiplayer modes online. Blue Isle has also included the same tools, environment art, sound effects, and AI for players to gain access to with this experience.

Slender: The Arrival is now availble for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and for PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam.
