‘Run,’ the new horror from Aneesh Chaganty (Searching) starring Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story, Netflix’s Ratched) is finally coming after being delayed from its original Mother’s Day weekend release thanks to COVID-19.
‘Run’ centers on Chloe Sherman (Kiera Allen), a homeschooled teenager dependent on her mother Diane (Paulson). Chloe’s life changes when she starts to find out about her mother’s past, but when Chloe tries to run away, Diane stops her at every turn. Now, Chloe must find a way to fend for herself for the first time and break free from her mother’s suffocating ‘love’.
The film was previously announced as a Lionsgate production in June 2018. The screenplay was written by Chaganty and Sev Ohaniah, who also co-wrote ‘Searching’ with Chaganty.
‘Run’ will be available for streaming on Hulu starting November 20.
