Robert Kirkman’s spinoff of ‘The Walking Dead’ received two brief clips during its panel at San Diego Comic-Con. ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ is coming into its seventh season on AMC. Coming this fall, the show will continue its focus on Lennie James’ Morgan and the Texas landscape devastated by last seasons finale.
The spinoff to the original series premiered back in 2015 with a radical shift from Rick Grimes and the crew. Set during the initial days of the outbreak, ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ did enough in its first season to stand away from its parent series. Following Madison Clark and her family as they attempt to survive the virus from day one in Los Angeles. The series would eventually see a shift on the story, focusing on ‘The Walking Dead’ alum, Morgan Jones, who meets the original surviving members and other survivors in Texas.
Some key things to look for this season:
- Cast member Alycia Debnam-Carey will make her directorial debut in Season 7.
- Sydney Lemmon will return as “Isabelle” and Gus Halper joins the cast as “Will” in Season 7.
- Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 will be released on BluRay and DVD on August 21.
The seventh season is set to premiere on October 17th of this year.
