We all know we can count on New Line Cinema for great horror, but it looks like they’ve found a new way to chill us with upcoming environmental horror thriller ‘Thaw’ as first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Very few details have been released about this title, but we do know it is written by Jeremy Passmore who is know for such epic features as ‘San Andreas’ and ‘Red Dawn.’ Passmore more recently adapted the graphic novel The Harlem Hellfighters into a limited series for the History Channel with his writing partner, Andre Fabrizio.
Gunpowder & Sky is producing ‘Thaw’ along with Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment.
New Line Cinema is also currently in production for the adaptation of Stephen King’s “Salem’s Lot.”
