A24 wishes us a warm “Welcome to EDDINGTON.”
The production company teams up once again with writer-director and filmmaker Ari Aster (‘Hereditary’, ‘Midsommar’). Production for their latest collaboration, ‘Eddington,’ is now underway.
In a post on X, A24 shared a photo from the set of ‘Eddington,’ what they’re describing as a “contemporary western.” We see a film slate surrounded by a stretch of desert and mountains:

The post also served as an official announcement of the star-studded cast of ‘Eddington.’ ‘Beau is Afraid’ lead Joaquin Phoenix will embark on his second outing with the director. Rounding out the cast is a slew of familiar faces: Pedro Pascal (‘The Last of Us’), Emma Stone (‘Poor Things’), Luke Grimes (‘Yellowstone’), Austin Butler (‘Dune: Part Two’), Deirdre O’Connell (‘Outer Range’), Micheal Ward (‘Top Boy’), and Clifton Collins Jr (‘Westworld’).
Though the rumor mill has been churning, neither A24 nor the director have confirmed plot details for the film.
