Neowiz’s dark and twisted gothic, Lies of P, brought two exciting announcements to their Summer Game Fest slot. Lies of P will release on PC and consoles on September 19th and a demo is currently available.
Lies of P is a soulslike horrific retelling of the classic fairytale. Players play as P, a puppet created by Geppetto, who is caught in a web of lies. Navigating through the plagued city of Krat by a mysterious voice, P must face a city of madness and bloodlust to find Geppetto. Players must adapt P to face the terrifying secrets of the city’s elites. However, you must choose whether to face conflicts with the truth or carefully craft lies to overcome them.
Pre-orders are now available for digital and physical versions of the game. Digital pre-orders include a Digital Deluxe option that grants players early access and unique cosmetics. Meanwhile, physical deluxe versions include a limited edition SteelBook and hardback art book. While September is still a few months away, fans can play the first two chapters in the demo now until June 27.
Neowiz also announced today the reasoning behind their release day from August to September. “The team felt it needed a few more weeks to put the finishing touches on the game to provide the best experience possible at launch.”
