Hidden Fields’ hand-drawn psychological horror game, Mundaun, has finally released to consoles. Mundaun first released in March of 2021 with raving reviews over its unique sketchbook-style art and mythology.

Set in a secluded valley of The Alps, Mundaun follows the story of Curdin. After returning to his hometown for his grandfather’s funeral, Curdin finds out his grandfather has already been buried. But after he finds his grandfather’s empty grave, he travels to the top of the mountain looking for answers. However, his journey is filled with conspiracies, cults, and strange creatures.

Not only do players need to be cautious of the creatures, but also Curdin’s fear level. The fear resistance factor will cause Curdin to move slower as he becomes more scared. Although the four different types of enemies can be fought, players can opt for a non-violence option when utilizing stealth.

Throughout Curdin’s investigation and path to saving his grandfather’s soul, there are currently five different endings players can achieve. While you navigate through the unwelcoming and unnerving environments, the choices you make will determine which of the five endings you receive.

Mundaun is available on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and for Nintendo Switch.

As part of Steam’s Summer Sale, PC players can grab Mundaun for a discounted price for a limited time.
