Trailer for ‘Lovely, Dark, and Deep’ Give New Reasons To Fear The Woods

Just as we are beginning to see the light at the end of the winter tunnel and turn our thoughts toward getting out into nature once spring hits XYZ Films comes in with the trailer for their new film ‘Lovely, Dark, and Deep.’ Written and directed by Theresa Sutherland (‘The Wind‘) stars Georgina Campbell (‘Barbarian‘) as a back country ranger who is about to learn way too much about the sinister secrets lurking within the woods. The limited cast also includes Nick Blood (‘The Offering‘) and Wai Ching Ho (‘Hustlers‘).

I was able to review this film as part of it’s Fantasia run and found it to be “hauntingly beautiful and genuinely terrifying.” Now that we finally have release information, artwork, and a trailer to share I can’t wait for you all to check this one out.

Synopsis:
Lennon, a new back-country ranger, travels alone through the dangerous wilderness, hoping to uncover the origins of a tragedy that has haunted her since she was a child.
