The new twisted tale focuses on two estranged sisters whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable. I also cannot wait for the Evil Dead video game coming out in early 2022 on HBO Max. We can only hope is gets a dual release in theaters as well. Evil Dead 2013 was a brutal take from director Fede Alvarez . ‘Evil Dead Rise’ has a lot to live up to in order to continue the badass legacy Alvarez’s fingerprint left behind. The film is currently in post-production.
