The new experience from The Path Entertainment Group, won’t be the ‘Saw’ franchise’s first dive into the escape room world. Before partnering for the new London experience, Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures previously collaborated on the long-running Saw Escape Room based in Las Vegas.
While Saw: The Experience won’t be directly based on any of the films, the filmmakers have assured fans that this’ll be an extension of the games and horrors of the franchise. Oren Koules and Mark Burg (Producers of the ‘Saw’ franchise and Founders of Twisted Pictures) shared their excitement, saying, “Our ‘Saw’ fans reach every corner of the globe, so we can’t wait to bring the films to life in London as an immersive escape experience. Now fans can be a part of the story and uncover what Jigsaw’s twisted games have in store for them firsthand.”
Saw: The Experience will offer two unique, twisted game-filled routes for fans: The Jigsaw, which will be accessible for all visitors, and The Spiral, which will feature enclosed spaces that require players to crawl on their hands and knees. But whichever you choose, the experience warns that they will include flashing lights, strobe, smoke, and scenes of torture.
