We recently learned the release date for ‘SAW X,’ the next installment of the ‘SAW’ franchise along with an official synopsis, new still of Tobin Bell and a wicked poster. Now fans of the franchise can experience an activation for the upcoming film at Midsummer Scream in Long Beach, CA this weekend (July 28 – 30.) The experience is open to all guests of the three-day event and tickets can be purchased at MidsummerScream.org.
In addition to the activation Lionsgate will be holding a panel featuring a discussion on the legacy of the ‘SAW’ franchise and some eye catching sneak peeks of ‘SAW X’ with the director Kevin Greutert and the production team, moderated by Bloody Disgusting’s Vanessa Decker.

SYNOPSIS:
John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the Saw franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of Saw I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.
