SDCC 2021: ‘Dune’ Debuts New Trailer Showcasing More Cast and the Epic Story

Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of the novel ‘Dune’ received its second trailer during SDCC this weekend. Showcasing more of the epic science fiction story we are getting, while showing off a few more cast members. Suffering a nearly year long delay from the pandemic, the film will finally see the light of day this fall

Leto Atreides, played by Oscar Isaac, accepts the job of supervising the desert planet of Arakkis. The planet, which is home to the most valuable resource in the universe, which hold many amazing properties. Adapted from Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel of the same name, the new movie looks to set itself apart from past adaptations.

The film was set to be released all the way back in November of 2020, however due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the film say many set backs. ‘Dune’ is now set to release October 22nd, 2021 in theaters. The film will also be streaming simultaneously on HBO Max for one month.
