Rev your chainsaws and get ready for some gnarly kills because Gun Interactive’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available now. After Ana’s sister, Maria, goes missing, Ana recruits her friends to aid in the search. Sadly, the band of unfortunate investigators follows Maria’s trail a little too closely and find themselves in the bloody-thirsty clutches of the Slaughter family.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a 4 v 3 asymmetrical horror game where four Victims are pitted against three Slaughter Family members. In each match, Victims must work to escape through one of three exits. However, Family members lurk around each corner, ready to hunt down and brutally execute their Victims.
Credit: Gun InteractiveOn launch, players can expect to immerse themselves through three carefully recreated and expanded on maps from the original movies: The Gas Station, The Slaughterhouse, and the Family House. Meanwhile, players can take on the roles of one of the iconic Slaughter Family members or as one of two original characters created in partnership with Kim Henkel.
Both Victims and Family members come equipped with unique Abilities and Attributes to aid in their mission. Players can utilize the Victim’s Attributes – Toughness, Endurance, Strength, Proficiency, Stealth – to silently complete their tasks or become resilient brutes of force when heading off against the Family. Meanwhile, the Family Attributes including Savagery, Harvesting, and Endurance can bring these chases to a quick and bloody end.
