Jordan Peele’s “Us” captures audiences attention over the last 2 weeks scaring almost $128 million at the domestic box office. It has had a divided response on what people thought of the film – but you know it has made a cultural impact when people start doing parodies of the film and the concept.
With Peele’s background in comedy, including Mad TV, it is fitting that Saturday Night Live would take a swing at the film and the pop culture relevance. The genius skit pairs doppelgangers with the Discover card commercial TV spots that features an alternative version of themselves in a customer service call center. A perfect pairing.
