Director Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down; The Strangers: Prey at Night) brings audiences on a suspenseful journey to find the source of evil ravaging through the small Midwestern town of Raccoon City. Inspired by the acclaimed video game, Resident Evil, this is Roberts’ first adaptation project as a screenwriter.
While the trailer has some really creepy moments I would love to see a film that pulls back on the action and takes a Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil 7 approach and really push the creepy factor like Silent Hill. From what I can see from the trailer it looks as close to any other Resident Evil movie of achieving this feat!
