“Shhhhh…It’s talking to me.”

My hair stood on end and goosebumps formed when I heard that line in the trailer for Richard Stanley’s adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s ‘Color Out of Space.’ The film originally premiered at the Toronto International Film Fest and now we get our first look with the official trailer debut.

After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farm, Nathan Gardner (Nicolas Cage) and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a technicolor nightmare.

The film stars Nicolas Cage, Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight, Josh C. Waller, Q’orianka Kilcher and Tommy Chong.

The ‘Color Out of Space’ smashes into theaters January 24, 2020.
