Coming back to the Inland Empire after a wildly successful first year, Ontario’s second annual CreepIECon is back on Saturday Feb 4 and Sunday Feb 5! Held at the Ontario Convention Center, CreepIECon is the Inland Empire’s largest horror themed convention. Filled to the brim with exciting horror experiences, here are just a handful of things to look forward to from the newest, coolest horror convention in the I.E.
Scream Cast, Terrifier 2 Cast, and Even More Phenomenal Film Guests
It’s gonna be a scream, baby! Just a month before Scream VI hits theaters, here’s your chance to meet the ones who started it all! In addition to the original killers Skeet Ulrich (Billy) and Matthew Lillard (Stu) , Jamie Kennedy (Randy) and Lee Waddell (Ghostface stuntman) will also make appearances at both days of the festival.
Or why not join the cast of ‘Terrifier 2’? Reuniting for the weekend, don’t miss your chance to chat with David Howard Thorton, Damien Leone, Lauren LaVerne, Elliot Fullam, Leah Voysey, and the scream queen Felissa Rose (also known from her role in the genre classic ‘Sleepaway Camp’).
If you’re a big Art the Clown fan, make sure to come to Saturday’s Day 1 of the convention, as David Howard Thorton will be in costume as Art the clown, with the multifaceted Damien Leone doing his makeup and costuming that day only.
Along with these incredible actors and crew— and three different Leatherfaces— will be an array of other icons and horror figures.
Fear Farm Haunt
Curtesy of Fear Farm Haunt comes CreepIECon’s own haunted attraction! Normally located in Phelan, CA, Fear Farm Haunt is bringing the scares to you this February with an immersive horror experience at the convention center. Admission to the experience is included with your CreepIEcon entry ticket.
Check out some pictures from previous haunts on Fear Farm’s Instagram.
Inked in the I.E.
Featuring some of the best artists specializing in horror tattoos, CreepIECon’s Inked in the I.E. Tattoo Alley gives you the chance to commemorate the weekend with a tattoo or two.
Take a look at of the skilled artists that will be there, at CreepIECon’s Instagram; and peak some of the absolutely incredible artwork. Maybe your arm will be the next creepy piece up on their page?
And thanks to CreepIECon sponsor 2ndtonontattoo, if a celebrity autographs your body— such as your arm or your leg— 2ndtononetattoo will tattoo that same autograph for only $100! (Keep in mind that celebrity autographs are a separate fee paid directly to the celebrity.)
Horror Prop Museum
We all have tried at least once to buy a horror prop— stalking the auction websites to see if just maybe something falls within our price range. I don’t know about you, but things usually don’t, not for me anyways. But Art has taken that extra step in our shared passion, and he’s got a cool sideshow to show for it!
Art’s Sideshow— ‘a ‘hobby turned passion’ from the man himself, Art Cordova— is a gallery filled with life-size horror props, which make for some incredible photo ops.
Along with huge props ready for ‘ops, Art’s Sideshow has some pretty cool, detailed merchandise for sale that’ll make you start charging your friends entry to your house.
Check out the gallery’s Instagram for a peak at what you may find at the convention in February.
Over 150+ Vendors!
A horror fan’s dream! Spanning from pins and stickers; to tee shirts and apparel; to props; to dozens of other horror-inspired, horror-themed merchandise, there is absolutely something for everyone here to enjoy! Crafted and imagined by hundreds of horror fans just like you, this isn’t your average store’s usual inventory. Browsing or buying, something is guaranteed to catch your eye (or maybe your heart)!
With Valentine’s Day just on the horizon, this is the perfect opportunity to find the perfect gift for any other horror lovers in your life, or simply a lovely Valentine’s gift for yourself! Check out CreepIECon’s Instagram page for a sneak peek at some of the vendors that will be making an appearance, or click here for a full list of the vendors attending the convention.
