Canadian-based filmmaker Jason Eisener, the director behind the gnarly grindhouse horror ‘Hobo With A Shotgun’ and creator of ‘Dark Side of the Ring’, has recently wrapped principal photography on his first full-length feature since 2011. Titled ‘Kids vs. Aliens’, it reunites Eisener with the team behind ‘Hobo With A Shotgun’ and tells the story of aliens invading a house party. Check out the plot snippet below:

Kids vs. Aliens follows Gary and his older sister Samantha as an all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the two warring siblings to band together to survive the night.”

Onboard to produce is Josh Goldbloom with Cinepocalypse Productions (‘V/H/S/94) alongside Brad Miska of BloodyDisgusting fame. Miska previously worded with Eisener on ‘V/H/S 2’. Executive Producers include Mark Ward, Tom Owen, and Adam Boorstin & Michael Schreiber for Studio71.

“Bringing alien terrors to life is a literal dream come true,” Eisener said, “‘Kids vs Aliens is inspired by my childhood nightmares and obsessions. Hopefully, my parents will forgive me for using their house as our main location.”

The cast features Dominic Mariche (‘Are You Afraid Of The Dark?’), Calem MacDonald (‘The Umbrella Academy’), and newcomers Asher Grayson, Emma Vickers, Phoebe Rex, Isaiah Fortune, and Ben Tector.

So far this all sounds like a blast, and if it’s anything similar to his previous UFO venture, ‘Slumber Party Alien Abduction’ in ‘V/H/S 2′, I’m sure we’re in for a great time.
